Danny Andrews is an entertainment attorney, talent and brand manager, as well as a motivational speaker, coach, and host based in Los Angeles, CA. As an attorney, his practice concentrates on the representation of individuals and entities with respect to all matters related to music, motion picture, television (non-scripted and scripted), Internet, branded entertainment, literary works, multimedia and new media technologies. Mr. Andrews also advises his clients in the areas of copyright, trademark, content licensing and distribution, financing, contract and other intellectual property issues, as well as advertising, marketing, and other promotional activities related to the entertainment industry.

Mr. Andrews has spoken on several entertainment-law related panels, including “What’s Next: How to Launch Your Filmmaking Career” at the Hollywood Black Film Festival, and has written several entertainment-law related articles, including, “Applying Copyright Law to User-Generated Content,” which was published in the annual entertainment edition of Los Angeles Lawyer magazine. Mr. Andrews has also taught several comprehensive music and entertainment law courses, including a comprehensive 8-day music law course at the American Jewish University in connection with acclaimed vocal coach Seth Riggs’ International Summer Vocal Program known as “Music Biz: The Art of Making Money in Music.”

As a talent and brand developer and manager, Mr. Andrews has also helped to develop and manage the careers of several successful television, film, music, and literary artists. He has also consulted record labels, production companies, and various publications on business and legal matters, and helped them create streamlined, consistent operations and brands, which resulted in substantial increases in revenue for these clients.

As a motivational speaker, coach and host, Mr. Andrews is known for his straightforward, result-oriented, yet entertaining, motivational speaking, coaching and hosting services, which include seminars on various entertainment-related and general corporate matters, sessions on various professional and personal development topics, and hosting talent competitions. He has provided these services to individuals, large corporations and top universities, including, the American Bar Association, Chapman University, and the University of California at Berkeley.

Danny Andrews earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications from UC Berkeley and a Juris Doctor degree from UC Berkeley’s Boalt Hall School of Law. After graduation from law school, Mr. Andrews was admitted to the bar in California and worked at the top entertainment law firm of Manatt, Phelps and Phillips in Los Angeles, prior to branching out and starting his own legal and business consulting practice.

Mr. Andrews is a former classical singer and theatrical performer. He used these talents as a vehicle to transcend the disadvantages he faced as a child in his birthplace of the U.S. Virgin Islands. These disadvantages also served as Mr. Andrews’ motivation for embarking on his journey of self-actualization of both his personal and professional potential. Consequently, Mr. Andrews is no stranger to having a dream and wanting more than anything to actualize those dreams. He has a deep understanding of the needs and struggles of the creative talent, content makers, content providers, business owners, and individuals that seek to maximize their potential. This empathy, coupled with industry knowledge, business savvy, access to key players, and unwavering tenacity allows him to provide a comprehensive and unparalleled service to his clients, whether they need an advocate to help them seal the deal, a manager to help them cultivate their talent or brand, or a plan to help motivate them to actualize their dreams.
